This workshop focuses on ways artists can build and sustain a loyal base of buyers without constant posting, algorithms, or online exhaustion. Emphasis is placed on repeat customers, direct communication, studio relationships, and word-of-mouth strategies that support long-term practice. Artists will explore approaches that feel manageable and aligned with how they want to work.

Rachel Shane is an arts administrator, educator, and researcher at the University of Kentucky, where she works closely with students, artists, and arts organizations on issues of sustainability and professional practice. She specializes in helping creatives and arts leaders navigate planning, pricing, and decision-making in ways that are realistic and grounded in lived experience.
